U.S. Headquarters of Pomminryon Supports DPRK's Proposal for Great National Conference for Reunification

Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- The U.S. Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon) issued a statement on July 2 in support of the DPRK's proposal for holding a great national conference for reunification.

Reunification is possible only when all members of the nation in the north and the south and overseas get united, the statement said, and went on:

The DPRK's proposal serves as a golden opportunity of putting an end to the state of war on the Korean peninsula and reunifying the country independently and peacefully through the great national unity.

The statement called for making a contribution to the peace and prosperity of the country and the just peace in Northeast Asia and the rest of the world by achieving the national reunification, the desire of the nation.
