Senior Party, State, Army Officials Pay Tribute to Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, Hwang Pyong So, Pak Pong Ju and other senior officials of the party, state and army, the chairperson of a friendly party and officials of the party, armed forces and power organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and paid tribute to President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on July 8, the nation's greatest memorial day.

Seen standing before the statues of the great leaders was a floral basket in the name of Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army (KPA).

Laid there were floral baskets in the joint name of the Central Committee of the WPK, the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the DPRK State Affairs Commission and in the joint name of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and the DPRK Cabinet.

The participants paid high tribute to the statues of the great leaders.

They made bows to the great leaders who lie in state.

They went round the halls where the orders the great leaders received are on display and halls that house cars, electric car, boat and train coaches used by them during their field guidance and foreign tours till the last moments of their lives.

On the same day service personnel and people of all social strata paid high tribute to the great leaders at the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun.
