S. Korean Builders Launch General Strike

| Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- The builders union of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions staged a general strike on July 6 opposing the Park Geun Hye group's labor misrule, according to Voice of People, an internet paper of south Korea. Attending it were more than 20,000 builders. They held a large-scale rally at the plaza of the Seoul City Office. Speakers said what awaits builders toiling and moiling is only wage arrear or industrial disasters. They set forth the 18-point demand of the builders union for improving the law and system on construction labor. |
