Vice-Chairman of South Headquarters of Pomminryon Calls for Fighting for Independent Reunification

Pyongyang, July 9 (KCNA) -- People of different social standings in south Korea held a rally in Seoul on July 7 welcoming Ro Su Hui, vice-chairman of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon), upon his release from prison after serving 4 years in jail on charges of visiting the DPRK, according to the south Korean online paper Jaju Sibo.

The speakers noted that Ro Su Hui fought against fascists in jail, remaining true to his faith, and called for bringing earlier the reunification of the country which would provide the people with a happy life.

Ro said it seemed that departed soul of "yusin" is now haunting south Korea but it was breathing the last breath in fact. Victory is sure to come, he said, calling upon all people to staunchly fight on, confident of victory.

He called for driving out the separatist forces and building an independent and reunified country, a new world where the people are masters.
