The first parts of those books deal with immortal flowers Kimilsungia and Kimjongilia.

The books classify over 800 kinds of gift plants according to the hierarchy of the flora of Korea.

Seen in the books are the list of countries and units and names of individuals and their occupation that presented plants, while detailing botanical and family names of gift plants and their habitat, morphological and ecological characteristics, breeding, cultivation and utilization.

They also carry photos showing panoramic view of gift plants as well as some flowers and fruits, so as to deepen the botanical knowledge.
