Minju Joson Exposes Servile Conduct of Japan Submitting to America
Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) -- The governor of Okinawa Prefecture, Japan recently gave vent to his rage over the American and Japanese authorities' refusal to meet the local residents' demands for the revision of the agreement on the status of U.S. forces in Japan, reduction of the U.S. military bases and prevention of recurrence of GIs' crimes.

The Japanese government deserves criticism since it made it a habit to read its American master's face in disregard of the wishes and requirements and interests of its people, a commentary of Minju Joson on Tuesday says, and continues:

In Japan the wishes and requirements and interests of the Japanese people are not prioritized but precedence is given to the American master's interests in politics.

Whenever GIs in Japan committed crimes, many Japanese vent their anger at them, demanding withdrawal of the U.S. forces from Japan.

At least the Japanese people demanded the agreement on the status of the U.S. forces in Japan be revised.

If Japan is a full-fledged sovereign state, its authorities should have taken proper steps, feeling a sense of disgrace over the fact that a great many Japanese have fallen victims to the GI criminals with their lives and dignities violated in peace time.

However, the Japanese authorities fail to say even a word, keen on pleasing the American master in disregard of the demands of its people, an expression of their deep-seated sycophancy and submission to the U.S.

Japanese politicians would be well advised to bear in mind the historical truth that sycophancy and dependence on foreign forces leads them to the ruin.
