Kim Il Sung Remembered at DPRK Missions Abroad

Pyongyang, July 13 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings, seminars, photo and book exhibitions and film shows took place at the DPRK missions in Cambodia, India and Equatorial Guinea between July 1 and 7 on the 22nd anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung. Displayed at the venues of the events were photos dealing with exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. Exhibited there were their works, and photos and books introducing the army and people of the DPRK. Invited there were figures from all walks of life, members of organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and organizations for the study of the Juche idea in the relevant countries. Present there were officials of the DPRK missions abroad. The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and their full-length pictures at the DPRK missions in those countries and paid tribute to them. The deputy prime minister in charge of Royal Palace of Cambodia who is chairman of the Cambodian committee for remembering Generalissimo Kim Il Sung said that he was the father of socialist Korea who turned the DPRK into a dignified independent and sovereign state with invincible might. He praised Kim Il Sung as a benefactor of the Cambodian people as he extended sincere support and solidarity to peace and security of Cambodia. The administrative department director of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea said that the President was the eternal leader of the DPRK who provided the Korean people with an independent and happy life, adding that he is always alive in the hearts of progressive mankind as he performed immortal exploits for global independence. Korean films "Kimilsungia", "Treasures of Eternal Value in Praise of Sun" and "Tower of the Juche Idea" were shown. |
