Kim Il Sung Remembered in Russia

Pyongyang, July 13 (KCNA) -- The Partizansk City Committee for Remembering Comrade Kim Il Sung of Russia and the Russian Khabarovsk Territorial Society for the Study of the Juche Idea and Experience in Socialist Construction of the DPRK held remembrance meetings and the Nakhodka City Committee for Remembering Comrade Kim Il Sung of Russia held a seminar on his exploits on July 7 on the 22nd anniversary of his demise. On display in the venues of the events were works of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and books and photos introducing efforts of the service personnel and people of the DPRK. The chairman of the above-said Partizansk City committee who is chairman of the City Assembly said that Kim Il Sung was the outstanding leader who made great contributions to the development of the DPRK and the struggle of the oppressed people for national liberation from colony. The vice-chairman of the preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu who is chairman of the Russian Khabarovsk Territorial Society for the Study of the Juche Idea and Experience in Socialist Construction of the DPRK said Kim Il Sung was the great statesman who liberated Korea and built a genuine socialist state. The chairman of the Nakhodka City Committee for Remembering Comrade Kim Il Sung who is first secretary of the Nakhodka City Committee of the Maritime Territorial Region of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said Kim Il Sung was the great man who firmly protected the destiny of the country and the nation and his great exploits will shine forever in the hearts of the Korean people and other progressives. The secretary general of the Nakhodka City Committee for Remembering Comrade Kim Il Sung who is secretary of the Nakhodka City Committee of the Maritime Territorial Region of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said even now people praise Kim Il Sung as the most prominent leader representing the 20th century, peerlessly great man and great sage of mankind. |
