Rodong Sinmun Ridicules Charade Staged by U.S. and S. Korean Puppet Regime

Pyongyang, July 13 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime held another "event" in a bid to cover up their true colors as provocateurs of the Korean war on June 25, 1950. It was staged in the "Korean War Memorial Park" in Washington. It was sponsored by "the Foundation for Commemorating Entry into the Korean War" and the south Korean puppet "embassy" in the U.S. Nobody knows when the foundation was established and to which it belongs. The program of this event was just to call by name the volunteers who were killed while serving as mercenaries of U.S. forces during the Korean war. On the previous day there took place a "memorial event" with attendance of some old men who survived in the war. Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun on Wednesday says: Staging such burlesques would not help the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime distort the history of the Korean war in the 1950s in which they sustained a disgraceful defeat. The Korean war was launched by the Syngman Rhee puppet regime at the U.S. instigation, pursuant to its U.S. scenario. This time, too, the U.S. held such a farce in a bid to describe its start of war, act of aggression, as "southward invasion" by the DPRK only to reveal its true colors as aggressor. Having suffered the horrible nightmare of defeat for the last several decades, the U.S. changed its scenarios from a few years back. It has staged charades one after another, talking nonsense that now is the time to term the Korean war which had been called "forgotten war" "forgotten victory." This, however, resulted in hyping up the U.S. defeat. Their desperate efforts to paint their history of defeat as that of winner would only add shine to the history of victory won by the DPRK. |
