The meeting discussed the measures for thoroughly carrying out the tasks set forth by Marshal Kim Jong Un in his May 25 letter and taking the lead in implementing the decision of the enlarged meeting of the third meeting of the 23rd Central Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon).

Kim Yong Ju in a report said Kim Jong Un made sure that the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League sent a message of greeting to the conference for celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Korean Youth League in Japan, and invited a delegation of its officials to the homeland to visit the construction site of the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station so that they might grasp the charging spirit of the youth in Songun era.

He referred to the tasks for boosting the single-minded unity of the ranks of the Korean Youth League in Japan as required by the patriotic movement which entered a new phase, staging mass movement in keeping with the emulation drive waged by the branches of Chongryon and playing a vanguard role in carrying out the three-point patriotic tasks.
