They established an alloy metal ball continuous casting process based on domestic technology at the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex and completed the preparations for trial operation of coal briquette drying oven and kiln and gas producer at the Mirim Tilery.

They also decided on a plan for sea-wave generator installation and developed a Korean-style high-speed circuit-breaker, operating control system, permanent-magnet synchronous motor, traction converter and control program for subway train.

Besides, they designed and manufactured more than 150 equipment and facilities of 30 kinds for putting the Pyongyang Cornstarch Factory's production processes on an automated and unmanned basis while realizing the home production of various analyzers.
