Tha Win, member of the Central Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar and secretary of the Yangon Regional Committee of the party, said that Kim Il Sung was the benevolent father of the people as he dedicated his whole life to the cause of freedom and emancipation of the people, adding that his undying feats are deeply cherished by the world progressive people.

Maung Maung Naying, director general of the Mit Tamor Publishing House of Myanmar, noted that Kim Il Sung set an excellent example for carrying out the cause of human independence by building socialism centered on the popular masses in the DPRK with his outstanding ideology and theory and great revolutionary practice.

The history knows no such a great man as the President who valued and loved the people, the general director said, adding:

Socialist Korea built by the President is the beacon of hope for the world progressive peoples.
