The executive chairwoman of the Women Headquarters of the committee underlined the need for the Ministry of Unification to actively ensure the joint national event and football games of the workers in the south and the north for reunification and other non-governmental level exchanges, cooperation and events in order to improve the deteriorated inter-Korean relations.

The head of the group for external cooperation of the Media Headquarters of the committee demanded the authorities, the Minju Party and all other parties, organizations and individual personages of south Korea immediately come out for the formation of the south side preparatory committee for the joint conference.

The executive chairman of the Labor Headquarters of the committee urged the authorities to ensure non-governmental exchanges and cooperation so as to weather the crisis on the Korean peninsula.

The deputy permanent representative of the Youth and Students Headquarters of the committee said that youth and students would take the lead in the struggle for peace and reunification.

At the end of the conference the representatives of the headquarters separately handed written demands addressed to the Ministry of Unification to the "government."
