Power Output Goes Up in DPRK
Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- The electric-power production is going up in the DPRK this month.

The Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex has produced hundreds of thousands more KWh everyday from the outset of July after carrying out its first half-yearly quota 105.9 percent.

The Pukchang Thermal Power Complex boosts the output of electricity considerably by updating equipment and facilities with home-made materials.

Such increased electric-power production was reported from Hochongang and Pujongang power stations.

Meanwhile, the Pyongyang City Power Distribution Station developed a program for control over the electric power system.

And coal mines across the country turned out over 50,000 more tons of coal than planned for thermal power stations in recent 35 days.
