Social Scientists Meet
Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- Symposium of the field of social science on the historical significance of the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) took place at the Academy of Social Sciences Thursday.

The participants heard papers scientifically and theoretically proving the significance of the congress.

The speakers said that the congress provided a new landmark for fully displaying the might of the WPK successfully carrying forward the independent revolutionary line and methods of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and for accomplishing the cause of building of a socialist power under the uplifted banner of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and increasing the leadership role of the party.

Marshal Kim Jong Un's report to the Seventh Congress of the WPK on the work of the Central Committee serves as important guidelines as it solemnly declared the supreme programme of the WPK for the accomplishment of the cause of people's independence, the cause of socialism under the banner of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and set the high goal of building a socialist power and the strategic line of attaining it, they noted, adding:

Kim Jong Un indicated the goal of building a socialist power and the road for carrying it out with his rare ideological and theoretical wisdom, making it possible for the service personnel and people of the DPRK to wage an all-people general offensive, all-out death-defying campaign.

When social scientists fully prove the scientific accuracy and validity of the idea and line set forth at the congress and dynamically conduct theoretical information service to arouse all servicepersons and people to the drive for implementing them, their enthusiasm for general offensive would be raised remarkably and the final victory become faster.

Present there were Ri Hye Jong, president of the Academy of Social Sciences, officials, teachers, researchers, lecturers, journalists and editors in the fields of science, education, media and preservation of revolutionary relics.
