Floral Basket Laid before Portrait of Smiling Kim Il Sung

| Pyongyang, July 15 (KCNA) -- An event for laying a floral basket before the portrait of smiling President Kim Il Sung took place by the Organization of Solidarity of the Peoples of Africa, Asia and Latin America (OSPAAAL) on the 22nd anniversary of his demise. Present there were members of the OSPAAAL and the DPRK ambassador to Cuba and his embassy members. The participants laid a floral basket before the portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung and paid tribute to him. The director of the Political Department of the organization said: The great Comrade Kim Il Sung is a close friend of the Cuban people and who made a great contribution to the work and the development of the OSPAAAL. He is a brilliant strategist who brought about the beginning of a downhill turn for the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being "the strongest" in the world. He positively supported the Cuban revolution and the struggle of the people of the countries in Latin America for the national liberation and made a great contribution to the cause of global independence. He will always be with us. |
