Pyongyang, July 15 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting took place in Norway on July 6 on the 22nd anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

On display there were photos dealing with exploits of Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Exhibited there were books and photos introducing the struggle of the Korean army and people who turned out in the general offensive to hasten the final victory.

Present there were figures of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and organizations for the study of the Juche idea and other people.

The participants laid bouquets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

Dag Norum, chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, said:

The demise of Comrade Kim Il Sung, the founder of the immortal Juche idea, is a great loss not only to the Korean people but also to the world progressive people.

He is a great revolutionary who embarked on the road of the revolution in his teens, led the anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory and liberated the country.

Thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung, an invincible and iron-willed commander, the Korean people could defeat the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the "strongest" in the world, honorably defend freedom and independence of the country, build a socialist power and lead an independent life.

He is the great leader of the world revolution who wisely led the struggle of the progressive people for global independence.

The progressive people will not forget his great exploits.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
