Japan's Commemoration of Anniversary of SDF Protested in S. Korea

Pyongyang, July 15 (KCNA) -- Civic and social organizations of south Korea including the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification and the Institute for National Studies staged an action in protest against the commemoration of the anniversary of the Japan "Self-Defense Forces" (SDF) held in Seoul on July 12, according to south Korean internet newspaper Tongil News.

Pak Han Yong, room chief of the Institute for National Studies, said the commemoration of the day clearly proved the revival of militarism.

Ri Yong Su, victim of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, bitterly accused Japan of commemorating the SDF founding anniversary, far from settling the sexual slavery issue.
