Members of various organizations and residents in the county conducted a hair cutting campaign outside the Songju County Office.

They demanded Park Geun Hye step down, owning responsibility for the decision, and immediately cancel the decision to deploy THAAD threatening the vital rights of the residents of the county.

Residents of the county are launching a people's campaign and a signature campaign demanding the authorities retract the unreasonable decision and declared they would wage diverse actions such as candlelight rally.

The county head entered a hunger strike from that day, stating he could never accept the decision to deploy THAAD which was made without discussion with the local autonomous organization and that he would fight if it is deployed.
