According to them, when Songju, North Kyongsang Province was decided as a location of THAAD and regional mindset against it is running high, lawmakers from Taegu and North Kyongsang Province changed their attitude though they styled themselves core forces supporting the Park Geun Hye regime at the April 13 election.

In a press conference and statements on July 13 they raised a problem in the course of the decision and demanded the regime take a step for regional compensation.

The Minju Party said that the authorities unilaterally decided to deploy THAAD without people's agreement.

The Kukmin Party set the opposition to THAAD deployment as its platform.
