Among them are stamps carrying the panoramic view of the Pyongyang Rest Home for the Aged and pine, the national tree of the DPRK.

There are also stamps showing several men and women and children in national costumes dating back to the Three Kingdoms (early 3rd century B.C.-middle 7th century A.D.), the Koryo Kingdom (918-1392) and the Feudal Joson Dynasty (1392-1910).

They include three stamps dealing with such medical plants as Ligularia fischeri.
