Pyongyang Orphans' Secondary School Completed
Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) -- There took place an inaugural ceremony of Pyongyang Orphans' Secondary School on Monday.

It has a school building with multi-function classrooms put on IT basis, labs and practice rooms, gymnasium with swimming pool, hostel, management building, etc. Provided with all conditions to convenience of the study and life of the orphans, the school meets the educational requirements on the highest level.

Present at the ceremony were Choe Thae Bok, Kim Su Gil, Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission, Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the Central Committee of the youth league, Cha Hui Rim, chairman of the Pyongyang City People's Committee, officials, teachers and students of the school, officials of the party and power bodies and relevant units, working people and builders in Pyongyang.

Kim Su Gil, alternate member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and chairman of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, made an inaugural speech.

He said that Pyongyang Orphans' Secondary School is the splendid palace, cradle of happiness for orphans, which has been built thanks to the fatherly love of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un personally guided the layout of the school so that it might be built as a model of the nation's schools and solved all the problems arising in the construction, the speaker said.

He stressed the need for the teaching staff of the school to devote themselves to the orphans with conscience as educators and bring up the students to be pillars of prosperous Korea who are knowledgeable, virtuous and healthy.

At the end of the ceremony the participants went round various places of the school.
