Attending the meeting were Bulgarian figures of various circles and invited there were the DPRK ambassador to Bulgaria and members of his embassy.

The mayor of the city in a report referred to the significance of the meeting in his city in the month of solidarity with the Korean people.

Speakers including the chief of a friendly club in Vidin City under the Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association said that the world progressive people set the period from June 25 to July 27 as the month of solidarity with the Korean people and extend firm support and solidarity to them.

They said that the army and people of the DPRK led by President Kim Il Sung beat back the U.S. imperialists in the three-year-long severe war kicked off by the latter for the first time in history and won the brilliant victory.

They lauded Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il for working heart and soul to accomplish the cause of national reunification.

A message to supreme leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
