Swiss Organizations Blame U.S. for Its Nuclear War Moves

Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on July 12 in denunciation of the U.S. which is increasing the danger of a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula.

The statement said that the U.S. imperialists' vicious politically-motivated military provocations aimed at escalating tension on the peninsula are making the DPRK take a resolute and strong countermeasure.

It went on:

The U.S. imperialists resort to whatever politically-motivated military provocations to invade the DPRK.

However, their plan for aggression can never be realized.

In case a nuclear war breaks out on the peninsula, the U.S. imperialists are bound to meet a merciless countermeasure by the heroic Korean People's Army.

The U.S. war maniacs were clearly warned by the KPA.

We fully support self-defensive measures taken by the DPRK.
