U.S. Magazine Asserts Withdrawal of U.S. Troops from S. Korea
Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- The National Interest, the U.S. magazine dealing with international relations, asserted the pullback of the U.S. forces from south Korea, according to Jaju Sibo, an internet paper of south Korea, on July 15.

The magazine said that the U.S. needs to seek completely different approaches to the DPRK such as withdrawal of the U.S. troops from south Korea in the future.

Referring to diverse necessities of the U.S. forces withdrawal, the magazine said it would substantially help ensure the security of the U.S.

If the U.S. hadn't threatened the DPRK with its military muscle, the DPRK could have changed its policy towards the U.S., it said, adding:

The latter's access to nukes was the best measure taken by it not to follow suit of Libya and other countries.

The justification for U.S. troops' presence in south Korea disappeared decades ago and the withdrawal of its troops from south Korea would provide the justification for the denuclearization on the Korean peninsula.
