The statement said that the organization extends positive support to the DPRK's proposal to hold a joint conference of all parties, social organizations and individual personages of the north, the south and abroad for the peace and independent reunification of the Korean peninsula on the 71st anniversary of the liberation of Korea, and will work hard to successfully hold the joint conference.

The statement renewed the determination to let the Korean community know about the significant joint conference and do the best to form a regional preparatory committee together with compatriots.
