Residents of Songju County, S. Korea Hold Candlelight Rally

Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- The Songju Committee for Checking the THAAD Deployment in south Korea held a candlelight rally in front of the building of the Songju County Office of North Kyongsang Province on July 18 in protest against the decision of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime on the deployment of THAAD, according to Voice of People, an internet paper of south Korea.

Thousands of country residents from all walks of life were attending the 6th rally.

The participants demanded the regime withdraw the decision.

They denounced the regime for hurling abuses at those opposing the THAAD deployment and branding them as "Reds".

They expressed their firm determination to force the regime to withdraw the decision by the concerted efforts of the county residents.
