The exhibition aims at giving impetus to activating the development and trade of the intellectual products including the world-competitive inventions and patent technologies.

Displayed at the exhibition were more than 450 technical proposals made by the science, research and education units and industrial establishments in the forms of products, models and charts.

There will take place a lecture, presentation, demonstration lecture, and exchange and sale during the exhibition.

Present at the ceremony were Choe Thae Bok, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission, Jang Chol, president of the State Academy of Sciences, officials concerned, scientists, technicians and inventors.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the venue of the exhibition.
