Big Efforts Being Paid to Preserving National Heritages in DPRK
Pyongyang, July 22 (KCNA) -- It is gaining momentum in the DPRK to preserve national heritages.

The National Authority for the Protection of Cultural Heritage and relevant units are stepping up the work to refurbish history museums in every province and improve the preservation of historical relics across the country.

Necessary measures have also been taken to protect them during the rainy season.

It has been pushed forward to find and list national intangible cultural heritages and certify them together with their registration as world intangible cultural heritages. And the work for preserving scenic spots and natural monuments is going on in a creditable way.

Meanwhile, the establishment of geographical information system is on a steady progress to show the geographical position, genesis and preservative situation of each heritage with satellite images.
