Anniversary of DPRK's Victory in War Observed by Pakistani Newspaper
Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- The Pakistani newspaper Election Times carried an article titled "July 27 of DPRK" on July 19 on the 63rd anniversary of the victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War.

The newspaper said:

July 27 is a significant day for the DPRK.

The day in 1953, 63 years ago, the U.S. was brought to their knees before the Korean people though it boasted of being the "strongest" in the world.

On June 25, 1950 the U.S. ignited the Korean war in a bid to realize its ambition for world hegemony.

The U.S. hurled its troops and forces of its 15 satellite countries, the south Korean army and the remnants of the old Japanese army, more than two million in all.

But an event to be specially recorded in human history of wars took place in this war.

The U.S. was defeated in the war for the first time though it did not suffer even a single defeat in more than 110 wars of aggression since its foundation.

On July 27, the U.S., in the long run, was forced to sign the Armistice Agreement which is little different from a surrender document.
