Swiss Bodies Condemn S. Korean Authorities' Unethical Crimes
|
|
Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on July 16 in support of the answer given by a spokesman for the DPRK Association for Human Rights Studies. Recalling that the spokesman gave an answer to the question raised by KCNA as regards the fact that Amnesty International recently demanded the south Korean puppet regime open to public the fate of women citizens of the DPRK who were allured and abducted to south Korea, the statement said: The south Korean authorities have taken women abductees hostage and disallowed even their contact with media. And they also disallowed their parents to meet with their daughters in Seoul. This is a hideous human rights abuse and unethical crime. The demand of Amnesty International proves that the south Korean authorities' behavior is becoming the target of the international community's serious concern and accusation. It is nonsensical and shameless for the south Korean authorities to talk about any "protection" while keeping DPRK women in custody. The UN, the UN Human Rights Council and other international human rights organizations should bring the south Korean authorities and gangsters of the Intelligence Service to justice and punish them for the above-said crime. |
