Anniversary of Kim Il Sung's Visit to Mongolia Marked
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- A meeting and film show took place in Ulan Bator, Mongolia on July 19 on the 60th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's visit to Mongolia.

Displayed at the venue of the event were works of Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and publications introducing Juche Korea.

Korean film showing daily-changing Pyongyang was shown.

Present at the event were figures of the Mongolian preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu, Foreign Ministry, Mongolian Mt. Paektu Association for Independent Development, Mongolian Kimjongilia Association and the Mongolian Centre for the Study of Juche and the DPRK ambassador to Mongolia and officials of his embassy.

The chairman of the Mongolian preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu said:

Sixty years ago, Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people and friend of the Mongolian people, visited Mongolia.

His visit was a historic event of weighty significance in developing the relations of the two countries.

2017 is a significant year marking the 105th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung and the 75th birth anniversary of HE Kim Jong Il.

We will positively organize various political and cultural events to praise the exploits of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu.

We wish the Korean people single-mindedly united around HE Kim Jong Un bigger success in their struggle for implementing the decision made at the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
