THAAD Deployment Protested across South Korea
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- Actions are going on in Seoul and other parts of south Korea in protest against the puppet authorities' moves to deploy THAAD, according to south Korean internet newspaper Voice of People.

Over 1,000 Seoul citizens held a candlelight rally on July 23.

The speakers underscored the need for the inhabitants of Songju County and all other people to pool their efforts and fight against the outsiders keen to sow the seeds of discord among them in order to get the decision on the deployment repealed.

A meeting was held by students in Chonggyechon area.

The speakers said that if THAAD is deployed, it would escalate military tension and turn south Korea into a war base, far from protecting security.

The Citizen's Action against THAAD Deployment also held a press conference in Youido at which it said that it staged an action in protest against the "government's" and the ruling party's moves to conceal the truth.

Buddhist organizations held a press conference before the puppet Ministry of Defense on July 21 to disclose the dangerous nature of the THAAD deployment.

Similar meetings took place in Taejon and Taegu.

It was reported that candlelight rallies are taking place in Songju, North Kyongsang Province.
