Foreign Crewmen Meet
Hamhung, July 25 (KCNA) -- A meeting of foreign crewmen was held at Hungnam Port Monday to mark the 63rd anniversary of the victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War.

They laid a bunch of flowers before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Hamhung City and paid tribute to them.

Present at the meeting were the captain and crewmen of the Sierra Leone-flagged ship GLORYHOPE 6.

The speakers praised the President as the legendary hero who defeated the U.S. imperialists and their followers by leading the bloody three-year war in the 1950s to victory.

The wise and brave Korean people who lived as a homogeneous nation with pride in the time-honored history and brilliant culture of fifty centuries brought about July 27 victory by beating back the invasion by the U.S. imperialists under the wise leadership of the President.

The historic victory in the war is the shining victory of the original strategy and tactics and the Juche-oriented war methods of the President, and a great demonstration of invincible power of the heroic Korean people who got united around the party and the leader in one mind, they noted.

They expressed belief that the Korean people will achieve big successes in their work to attain the grand goals put forward by the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and achieve the independent reunification of the country and build a powerful socialist country, united close around Marshal Kim Jong Un.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
