Present there were officials concerned, camping groups of schoolchildren from the DPRK, Russia, Nigeria, Laos, Somalia, Vietnam and Tanzania and a camping group of schoolchildren of Koreans abroad.

They laid a floral basket and bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il at the camp and paid tribute to them.

A congratulatory speech was followed by a report.

They hoped that the campers would spend pleasant and happy days at the camp which was successfully built in Songdowon, the beautiful beach on the east coast of Korea, under the loving care of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

They expressed belief that the camping would be an international gathering of schoolchildren of various countries who desire of peaceful and beautiful future as in the past.
