They played a nasty trick of inviting victims of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army to attend an inaugural ceremony of the "foundation for comfort women for the Imperial Japanese Army" slated to take place on July 28.

Officials concerned of the puppet Ministry of Women and Families attempted to get the victims involved in the fabrication of the foundation while promising them to pay money, provide them with new dresses and meal if they attend the ceremony.

In connection with the moves of the ministry, victims of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army and members of the Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps held a press conference in Seoul on July 25 and disclosed the authorities' vicious moves.

A statement was issued.

The statement said it is evident that the present regime does not have even an iota of conscience as it is staging such a burlesque against aged victims in the wake of the humiliating "agreement" reached with Japan through abuse of power.
