Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- Service persons, people from all walks of life and school youth and children laid floral baskets, bouquets and flowers before the statues and portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on the 63rd anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

Many people visited the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill.

Seen standing before the statues was a floral basket sent by Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army (KPA).

Laid there were floral baskets in the names of party, armed forces and power organs, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces and institutions, industrial establishments and schools at all levels in Pyongyang and bouquets and flowers.

The visitors paid tribute to the great leaders who provided the glorious tradition of victory in the war against imperialism to shine forever along with the history of the country and built the world's military power and full-fledged nuclear weapons state on this land.

Floral baskets were also laid before the statues and portraits of the smiling great leaders at Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, the Mansudae Art Studio and other places in Pyongyang in the names of KPA units, institutions and enterprises.

Service persons, working people and school youth and children across the country visited the statues and portraits of the smiling great leaders in their residing areas to pay tribute to them.
