The visitors paid tribute in humble reverence, looking up to the portraits of the smiling great leaders.

Service personnel and people of all social standings visited the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum and revolutionary sites associated with Kim Il Sung's leadership for war victory.

Service personnel, working people and youth and students paid their respects to victors of great age after visiting statues and cemeteries of martyrs, monuments to the fallen soldiers of the Korean People's Army and cemeteries of fallen fighters across the country.

Diverse performances were given in Pyongyang and local areas.

The revolutionary drama "Following the Banner of Victory" was staged at the National Theatre in Pyongyang.

The revolutionary opera "Victory of the Revolution Is in Sight" was staged by the Phibada Opera Troupe at the Pyongyang Grand Theatre, a concert by the National Symphony Orchestra at the Moranbong Theatre and performance by the National Circus at the Pyongyang Circus Theater.

Performances were given by artistes of provincial art troupes.

Workers, members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and the Democratic Women's Union of Korea and other working people, youth and students held meetings with war veterans.

The working people and school youth and children visited the families of the war veterans and persons of wartime merits and congratulated them.
