Displayed at the venue of the event were photos dealing with the feats performed by President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed were their works, and books and photos introducing the victorious history of the DPRK.

Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, said:

July 27, Juche 42 (1953) was the day of worldwide significance on which the army and people of the DPRK defeated the U.S. imperialists under the wise guidance of the great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, the invincible and iron-willed commander.

The shining victory in the Fatherland Liberation War is the proud fruition of the outstanding stratagem and war methods of Kim Il Sung and the single-minded unity of all the service personnel and other people around him.

In the postwar period the U.S. worked hard to ignite a war against the DPRK though it suffered defeat in the Korean War.

But the Korean people shattered all the moves of the provocateurs thanks to the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The DPRK is demonstrating its might as a nuclear weapons state and the Korean People's Army as the matchless army which is capable of beating back any formidable enemy at one blow under the brilliant and outstanding Songun leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The participants went round photos on display and watched Korean film "The Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum".

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event.
