This clearly indicates once again that the U.S. is the spreader of WMDs and enemy of humankind as it disturbs global peace and security, says Rodong Sinmun Friday in a commentary.

It goes on:

The U.S. has raked up profits, while paying lip-service to peace. Lurking behind its arms sale is its intention to bring profits to the munitions monopolies and, at the same time, create imbalance of strength and military standoff in relevant regions and lead them to physical clash and then put them under its control by hurling its forces under the mask of "guardian of peace."

Seven decades have passed since the end of the Second World War and decades since the demise of the Cold War era, but the danger of war has increased on the earth. This is entirely attributable to the U.S.

Its massive arms sale sparks off fresh arms race and the danger of war in different countries and regions of the world.

The U.S. is the hideous war merchant as it has fostered disputes, mass killing and wars in various parts of the world in utter disregard of international law and international organizations.

It is a mockery and challenge to the global peace for the U.S. to talk about the danger of proliferation of weapons by other countries.
