S. Korean Prof. Slams THAAD as Extension of U.S. Missile Shield

Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) -- The south Korean paper Hangyore on July 26 carried an article written by Prof. Choe Jong Gon at Yonsei University of south Korea denouncing the authorities for denying the fact that the THAAD deployment is an extension of the U.S. missile defense system.

He said the main reason for Japan to welcome the deployment of THAAD by U.S. forces in south Korea is that it is an extension of the U.S. MD.

Not only China and Russia opposed to THAAD deployment but the U.S. and Japan describes it as an extension of the U.S. missile defense system, but only the Park regime denied it, he said.
