Pyon Suk Hyon, who lost her husband and one hand in the past Korean war, said that the U.S. forces should stop interfering in the internal affairs of the Korean nation and go back their home at an early date, calling on all Koreans to turn out in the struggle to protect peace on the peninsula.

A press release was read out at the press conference.

It noted that the U.S. and the authorities are resorting to their hostile policy toward the north while rejecting dialogue and negotiations with it. It urged them not to insist on their confrontation policy but to opt for concluding a peace treaty.

Demonstrations took place in different areas near the U.S. Embassy in demand of the retraction of the decision on THAAD deployment and the conclusion of a peace treaty.
