S. Korean Inhabitants Reject "Saenuri Party's" Deceptive Proposal

| Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- Inhabitants of Songju County, North Kyongsang Province of south Korea on July 26 turned down the deceptive proposal made by the gentries of the "Saenuri Party" for the deployment of THAAD, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Chamsesang. That day the floor leader of the party appeared in Songju leading a delegation and held a round-table conversation with representatives of inhabitants at the county office over the issue of forming a council of the Ministry of Defense, the "Saenuri Party", North Kyongsang Province and the Songju Committee for Checking THAAD Deployment. The co-chairman of the committee strongly urged the party to retract the plan for THAAD deployment. Meanwhile, county inhabitants held a funeral ceremony of the party outside the county office. |
