Javier Gradin, director of the International Affairs Department of the Ample Front of Peru, said:

July 27 is the day when the U.S. was defeated by the heroic Korean people.

But the U.S. has long embellished their defeat as "victory".

It is mulling distorting history but it was defeated in the Korean war.

Today's DPRK has nuclear weapons and is a strong country which defends the sovereignty of the nation while making rapid development despite the most severe economic sanctions which no other country has suffered yet.

Chanai Longoen, chairman of the Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association, said:

The great victory in the Fatherland Liberation War--this was a page of proud advance which promised the prosperity and bright future for the Korean people but the beginning of bitter defeat and ruin for the U.S.

The Korean people defeated the U.S. and won victory thanks to President Kim Il Sung's extraordinary commanding art and their united efforts rallied close around him.
