These are, indeed, sheer sophism.

The U.S. seeks to pass the buck to the DPRK for escalated tension on the peninsula.

The DPRK was compelled to have access to the nuclear deterrent and bolster it up as the U.S. staged ceaseless war drills and constantly increased nuclear threat on the peninsula.

No one can predict what the U.S. reckless arms build-up and joint military exercise to be staged in August will bring to the peninsula and its vicinity.
