DPRK's Measures Supported by British Organizations

Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, Korean Friendship Association UK and the British preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu issued a joint statement on July 29 in support of all the measures taken by the DPRK for defending the sovereignty of the country from the U.S. threat.

The statement said:

We denounce the U.S. Secretary of State for slandering the DPRK and making reckless remarks at the ministerial meeting of the ASEAN Regional Forum that the DPRK is escalating the tension on the Korean peninsula.

It is just the U.S. imperialists who are running amuck in reckless war exercises and introducing war hardware into south Korea while openly vociferating about "beheading operation" targeting the supreme headquarters of the DPRK.

The U.S. Secretary of State said that the war exercises which are being conducted in south Korea were "defensive" and they were forced due to the DPRK's nuclear deterrent.

But his talk is nonsense.

The U.S. and south Korea have continuously conducted joint military exercises on the Korean peninsula before the DPRK had had an access to the nuclear deterrent.

The U.S. Secretary of State is forgetful of the fact that it is the U.S. which first introduced the nuclear weapons into the Korean peninsula in wanton violation of the Armistice Agreement.

He is being engrossed in deceptive propaganda but the responsibility rests with the U.S. which extremely escalated the tension on the peninsula.
