On July 24, the ministry sent an official document to the city and provincial agencies of education, instructing them to let teachers and students of schools at all levels and their parents properly understand the "guide for the people" related to the deployment of THAAD made and distributed by the Ministry of Defence.

The document dealt with a way for watching the data related with THAAD on a website of the Ministry of Defence and applied the propaganda related with THAAD shaped by it and included an order not to allow the students to participate in the campaign in protest against the deployment of THAAD.

As protest is growing stronger at schools as evidenced by the participation of many students in the campaign against THAAD, the ministry is working hard to quell it under the pretext of "guide to life," the commentary noted, and went on:

It is an anachronistic action to educate students in the contents of the propaganda at a time when public furor over the THAAD deployment is growing strong.
