S. Koreans Vow to Carry on Actions against THAAD Deployment

| Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- The Songju Committee of Struggle for Checking THAAD Deployment in south Korea held a meeting on July 28 at which it decided to carry on its actions against THAAD deployment, according to Yonhap News of south Korea. It declared it would stage hair-cutting in protest against THAAD deployment with forthcoming August 15 as an occasion. It decided to send a letter reflecting the stand of the county religionists opposed to THAAD deployment to the Pope. It declared their actions would include ploughing of melon fields and candle-light rally. Meanwhile, doctors in Songju County expressed the will to join in hair-cutting in demand of the retraction of the decision on THAAD deployment. |
