Modernization of Metal Industry Pushed Forward in DPRK

| Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- Efforts have been paid to putting production processes on a modern basis in the field of metal industry of the DPRK. The Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex is stepping up the second-stage project for establishing a dust collection process of sintering furnace. The Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex speeds up the expansion of raw material yard for oxygen heat blast furnace. The Hungsan Mine has concentrated efforts on manufacturing akins classifier and pulverizing mill. Modernization is also getting momentum at the Jaeryong Mine, the Chollima Steel Complex, the Puryong Ferroalloy Factory and the Hungnam Terminal Factory. |
