Present there were scientists, technicians, teachers, technical personnel and three-revolution team members of the Branch Academy of Railway Science of the State Academy of Sciences, Pyongyang University of Railways, Pyongyang Railway Bureau, Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex, Wonsan Rolling-Stock Complex, etc.

The festival was held, divided in the machine, metal and construction panel, electricity and automation panel and information and application panel in the forms of exhibition and presentation and exchange of new technologies.

More than 100 scientific and technological papers and research successes were presented to the festival.

The participants briefed the visitors about the successes made in the solution of the scientific and technological issues arising in putting the train service on a scientific and rational basis, in developing and producing modern railways transport means and pushing forward the work of making railways heavy-duty and speedy.
